New Construction Builder Program

New Construction Builder Program
Classic Design Interiors was founded in 2006 by Tiffany Gomes, its President. Tiffany spent seventeen years working her way up through Walters Carpet, which eventually became Grand Floor Designs and then CTI. At the time she left CTI, Tiffany was Senior Operations Manager over their Roseville, Reno, Lodi, and Lathrop locations managing over $100M in annual builder sales.

Working initially as a flooring Project Manager, Tiffany created numerous processes and procedures which enabled the Lodi Builder Department to grow 500% over the course of 6 years. Her passion for operational excellence led her to create numerous SOP manuals that resulted in a 4% net profit increase for the company.

In 2006, CTI moved from Lodi to Lathrop, and after careful deliberation and an extensive business plan, Tiffany decided to take control of her own destiny and open Classic Design in the same location she’d worked since 1989. For the first several years of business, Classic Design focused on remodeling and custom housing. Tiffany earned both her C15 flooring license as well as her B general contracting license from the CSLB and Classic Design quickly grew into the premier destination for Effortless Home Improvement® in the Central Valley.
Classic Design has earned dozens upon dozens of awards, including the prestigious Lodi Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award in 2015. Other awards include Best Employer, Best Kitchen & Bath Remodeler, Best Flooring Company, Best Window Coverings, Best Interior Design and more. Tiffany has also received the Lodi Chamber’s Volunteer of the Year and the California Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Advocate of the Year Award. Tiffany has served as a Lodi Planning Commissioner, was Chairperson of the Government Relations Committee, and was Board Chair for the Lodi Chamber.

Many CTI employees joined Tiffany at Classic Design and have been instrumental in its growth and continued success. After weathering the great housing crisis, and modeling after the accomplishments of Walters Carpet, the company remains committed to a balanced revenue stream, finding success as both a subcontractor and general contractor in residential and commercial remodeling as well as new construction.

Legacy Homes became the first builder to subcontract Classic Design for tract work, awarding them two communities in Soledad and Hollister, totaling over 500 homes. Approximately a year into production, they were awarded communities in Merced, Livingston and Williams after receiving near perfect scores from superintendent reviews and seeing Soledad become one of the most profitable of Legacy’s communities.

Tiffany and her team’s background, industry connections, and knowledge in Sales, Operations, and Production combined with the ability to differentiate Classic Design from the dwindling corporate competition in the flooring subcontractor market leaves Classic Design poised to become the newest contractor of choice for discriminating builders.
Centrally located in Lodi, CA, Classic’s main office with a 12,000 square foot warehouse and 6,000 square foot showroom, provide the ideal hub to serve builders up and down the Central Valley. Their installation team earns accolades from Superintendents each year as they prove that new construction installations can be performed quickly and professionally without losing the integrity of custom residential applications. Finally, their Design Team has worked for countless national and local builders, creating amazing spaces for buyers and bringing handsome profits to builders.

Whether you are looking for a stand-alone design center or a small space in one of your models, Classic Design is available to accommodate the needs of both while providing and installing flooring, tile, window coverings and more for your next community.
